Job Responsibilities
- Act as engineering resource to molding operation ensuring process standardization and responsible for new tooling/autoloader process set up / optimization of existing process.
- Participate in early design quality level and meeting the process capabilities.
- Provide engineering support in terms of production and quality issues to ensure issues are contained and resolved.
- Collaborate with other related departments to ensure the process / equipment maintenance activities.
- Train the new process technician / tool maker to meet their objectives and organization needs.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years in tooling design and manufacturing.
- Strong experience in injection molding and high-volume production.
- Knowledge in mold design (hot runner, cooling, gating, etc.)
- Familiar with GD&T and tolerance analysis.
- Experience with Moldflow / Moldex3D.
- Skilled in CAD software (Creo, NX, SolidWorks).
