Senior Business Development Executive (Ref: MS14)

Job Responsibilities

  • Sales Development:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels and provide optimal CRM
  • Managing the sales process from initial contact to closing deals.
  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships/partnerships.

    Supplier Development:
  • Identify and evaluate potential new suppliers in the Ipoh Northern region.
  • Conduct supplier assessments to ensure product cost, quality and WoW fits with the agreed business model.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve supplier performance (e.g., cost, quality, delivery, reliability).
  • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement STDs across all levels.
  • Building strong and collaborative relationships with key suppliers.

    Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Facilitate daily communication and information flow between internal teams clients and suppliers.

    Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Analyse sales data and supplier performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Developing and maintaining reports for management review.


Requirements

  • Must be mobile (90%), energetic, driven with excellent communication skills
  • Strong sales and cost negotiation acumen.
  • Excellent interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in supplier evaluation, selection, and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in consistent and accurate data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Needs to be ‘well-connected’ and experienced with the relevant business and suppliers contacts in the region.
