To coordinate
with QM(Engineering) personnel on defective supplied parts, prepare and compile
material defect reports to suppliers and keep track on the replacement of
defective supplied parts.
To handle the
shipping (import and export) of parts and products, work closely with freight
forwarders and shipping agents to handle matters pertaining to Certificate of
Origin from MITI and Chamber of Commerce, and to arrange fumigation for
shipment using wooden pallets/ cases.
Prepare packing
list
To prepare
monthly report such as Custom M1/M2 (before 28th of each month) and
to submit Lampiran C for sub-contracts (before 10th of each month)
to the Custom’s LMW department, and to prepare and submit Custom’s K1/K2
documents and filling as well to prepare and submit yearly reports such as M4.
To prepare the Custom’s exemption letters such as Lampiran A
(export and local sales for parts), Lampiran X (raw material and component
parts) and Lampiran Y (tools and machineries and equipment).
Apply for
document MICCI CO/Form D
Check incoming
item/ part with DO / Purchase list.
To optimize the
Company’s resources by closely controlling or reducing the slow moving or
written off stock, fixed cost and products’ cost by fostering business
relationship with suppliers locally or oversea, freight forwarder, shipping
agent etc.
Make packing list
for overseas & local order.
Order item / part
if not sufficient quantity inside the store for next delivery.
To liaise with
MITI on product costing analysis inn order to obtain the Form D and with the
Chamber of Commerce for Certificate of Origin (CO) or liaise with any other
private organizations if necessary.
To attend to
governmental matters such as MIDA for export quota and custom’s LMW license
annual renewal which include the ATS for SST.
Requirements
At least 2-3 years’ experience in
logistics
Minimum Diploma in
Business Admin/ Logistics, or any equivalent qualification
