SHIPPING EXECUTIVE (REF: MO)

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate the export/import shipping schedule.
• Manage inventory reports in order to maintains stock of sales.
• Liaise with forwarders- air and ocean cargo and inland transportation.
• Issue purchase order, delivery order and shipping documents.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers concerning delivery arrangements.
• Knowledge in taxes, duty, custom which related to import &export tariff code is added advantages.
• Updates the shipping schedule accordingly and arrange for delivery schedule.
• Monitor shipments to ensure customers’ specific requirements are met.
• Interface with customers to ensure that they are in compliance with their prescribed shipping methods and requirements.
• Notify customers when difficulties arise in meeting their requirements and negotiate solution for both parties.
• Work with the carriers to ensure that we are utilizing the best service in terms of dependability and economy.
• Recommend, implement and support continuous improvement with the section to improve employee's performance.

Requirements

• Degree / Diploma in Logistic/Shipping or equivalent qualification in related field.
• Fresh Graduated are welcome.
• Experienced in Trading company, manufacturing logistic, shipping arrangement, procurement department with 1- 2 years experience is a plus.
• Able to speak English, Malay & Mandarin (read & write)
• Working location can be reached by LRT, MRT & Monorail.
• Five working days. (Monday - Friday)
• On job training will be provided.
• Willing to learn, team player and positive attitude is required.
